*DAILY DEW 10/MAY/2024* *GOD'S WORDS* (2) _Key Bible Text:_ *My son, attend to my words; incline thine ear unto my sayings. Let them not depart from thine eyes; keep them in the midst of thine heart.* (Proverbs 4:20-21 (KJV)) _Bible Insight:_ Depart. Keep. Depart. We are not to let God's word depart from our eyes. This is a call to focusing on God's words. It calls for meditation. It calls for daily reading of the word. It calls for continuous thinking and application of the word. When we choose to not DEPART from God's words, other things that are not in line with God's words, departs from us. Drawing near to God's words, never letting our eyes depart from God's words, actually forces habits, ways, ideas that are not in line with God's words, to depart from our lives. Not departing from God's words, forces sin and unrighteousness to depart from us. Keep. As we do not depart from God's words, we depart from sin. As we depart from sin and anything not pleasing to God, we are keeping God's words. Keeping God's words equals departing from anything contrary to God's words. _MEDITATION:_ *"If you are struggling to depart from a bad habit or sin, it is because you are departing from the word of God.
