*DAILY DEW 1/MAY/2024* *Wisdom* _Key Bible Text:_ *"Get wisdom, get understanding: forget it not; neither decline from the words of my mouth. Forsake her not, and she shall preserve thee: love her, and she shall keep thee."* (Proverbs 4:5-6 (KJV)) _Bible Insight:_ Wisdom and understanding must be sought after, pursued, and aquired. Wisdom and understanding can be forgotten. Effort must be made, structure put in place, so as not to forget ... One can decline wisdom and understanding. One must make a conscious decision never to decline words of wisdom and understanding. Those who fail to recognize wisdom and understanding when they appear, will refuse it either ignorantly or stubbornly. The wise elders of late king Solomon advised his son to treat the people nicely, but Rehoboam was not in alignment with God. Hence, he didnt detect the wisdom and understanding of the aged. Instead he swallowed the nonsense from his age mates, and paid the heavy price of losing the larger part of the Kingdom to Jeroboam. _MEDITATION:_ *"Rehoboam forsook wisdom and as a result the kingdom was not preserved.
