So Tamar remained desolate in her brother Absalom's house."* (2 Samuel 13:20 (KJV)) _Bible Insight:_ "Regard not this thing!", said Absalom, Tamar's brother. You would think he doesn't care or is just pacifying his sister. Meanwhile, it was all cover up as time would later reveal. Conversely, the very next verse reported an angry king and father who we didn't read or hear of any drastic action he took either to correct or discipline Amnon: 2 Samuel 13:21 (KJV) But when king David heard of all these things, he was very wroth. He was very angry. But we cant tell what else he did about it. Some of the things you are angry about, you need to let go of that anger. But for some others, you need to do something positive about the situation that is causing you anger. Even though Absalom said nothing to Amnon. He developed a deep hatred for him from that day.
