*DAILY DEW 21/FEBRUARY/2024* A Jonadab or A Jonathan. _Key Bible Text:_ *"But Amnon had a friend, whose name was Jonadab, the son of Shimeah David's brother: and Jonadab was a very subtil man."* (2 Samuel 13:3 (KJV)) _Bible Insight:_ It is better to have no friends than to keep the wrong friends. Some friends are bad for you. Some friends will leave you "exposed" rather than keep you "protected". An evil company is not better than a lonely state. Loneliness is a blessing if compared with being surrounded with wrong and ungodly persons. Psalms 1:1 (KJV) Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful. Jonadab is like many people today. They like to give counsel but they won't apply that counsel themselves. They give counsel out of spite and jealousy but you will think they love you.
