*DAILY DEW 29/NOVEMBER/2023* *FISHERMEN AND FISHERS OF MEN* _Key Bible Text:_ *"So when they had dined, Jesus saith to Simon Peter, Simon, son of Jonas, lovest thou me more than these? He saith unto him, Yea, Lord; thou knowest that I love thee. He saith unto him, Feed my lambs."* (John 21:15 (KJV)) _Bible Insight:_ Simon Peter said to the others, *I am going fishing.* *We will come with you,* they told him. So they went out in a boat, but all that night they did not catch a thing. As the sun was rising, Jesus stood at the water's edge, but the disciples did not know that it was Jesus. Then he asked them, *Young men, haven't you caught anything?* *Not a thing,* they answered. He said to them, *Throw your net out on the right side of the boat, and you will catch some.* So they threw the net out and could not pull it back in, because they had caught so many fish. Jesus came to be with the disciples, right in their disobience and return to being fishermen rather than fishers of men! He didn't come with a cain. He came with more fishes. So much more, than all their all night efforts could catch! In fact, they had caught nothing, all night! _MEDITATION:_ *Whatever we run after, other than what God has called us to do, ends up being frustrating, either in time or in eternity!
