*DAILY DEW 20/NOVEMBER/2023* *OUR MISSION* (3) _Key Bible Text:_ *"Wherefore lay apart all filthiness and superfluity of naughtiness, and receive with meekness the engrafted word, which is able to save your souls."* (James 1:21 (KJV)) _Bible Insight:_ There are three categories of people, especially young people, who don't go to church anymore 1. Those who have bought into unscriptural ideologies 2. Those who have slipped into a life of sin 3. Those who have found themselves insulting and ridiculing the church and her pastors. Many are in more than one category and what is common to all three is that although they may know and remember some scriptures usually when they want to support their choices, but have somehow forsaken the truth of the Bible and are far from the word of God. This is what the first Psalm addresses where it says Blessed is the man that 1. Walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly 2. Nor standeth in the way of sinners 3. Nor sitteth in the seat of mockers But his DELIGHT is in the law of the Lord and in His law does he meditate day and night. I love the words of Bishop Oyedepo where he said "One thing is needful. Whatever day the study of the bible is substituted for any other spiritual hobby; We are finished. Because we have a new generation of believers that think that fun is what makes a new generation. That is a new degeneration."
