*DAILY DEW 14/SEPTEMBER/2023* *Light vs Darkness* _Key Bible Text:_ *"And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil. For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved. But he that doeth truth cometh to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God."* (John 3:19-21 (KJV)) _Bible Insight:_ The fight is raging on. It is taking place even when there is no declared war. It is taking place in the Middle East with rivals fighting and the world powers trying to fight terrorism or so they claim. It is taking place in families. It is taking place in your workplace. It is taking place in churches. It is taking place on campuses. It is taking place in the cities, in the slums, in the highbrow areas, in the villages, everywhere. This fight is nothing but the fight between light and darkness. The greatest battlefield remains that of the mind. The mind of an individual is the battleground where forces of light and darkness collide and clash in attacks and counter-attacks. If you have darkness in you, it will spread to everything else around you. If you have light in you, that light will also shine all around you. Jesus says that we must be sure that the light in us is not darkness, for only then can our light shine greatly, brightly, gloriously and excellently. _MEDITATION:_ *"Don’t curse the darkness.
