*DAILY DEW 9/SEPTEMBER/2023* *Ministry Musings* (III) _Key Bible Text:_ *"Hold firmly to the word of life; then, on the day of Christ's return, I will be proud that I did not run the race in vain and that my work was not useless. But I will rejoice even if I lose my life, pouring it out like a liquid offering to God, just like your faithful service is an offering to God. And I want all of you to share that joy."* (Philippians 2:16-17) _Bible Insight:_ Convenience, comfort, circumstances and situations are underated deadly enemies of the faith of the Lord Jesus Christ. To *"Hold firmly to the word of life"* is one piece of advice that will be very difficult for anyone who loves convenience, comfort and circumstances & situations. Life is designed to get in your way until you are determined to push your way through. Waiting for convenience or favourable circumstances before you do the needful is a recipe for failure and/or under performance. The law and the prophets were until John: since that time the kingdom of God is preached, and every man presseth into it. -- Luke 16:16 (KJV) Pressing, sacrifice and service are key non-negotiable elements of kingdom life or Christ centered living. For instance, recently I mused about my seeming struggle to keep up writing Daily Dew.
