*DAILY DEW 8/AUGUST/2023* *The Main Mission* _Key Bible Text:_ *"'Yea doubtless, and I count all things but loss for the excellency of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord: for whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and do count them but dung, that I may win Christ."* Philippians 3:8 (KJV) _Bible Insight:_ There are many things that are lovely and desirable in this world. But in the end, we are all in a maze, searching without knowing, for the path and the end that is good. But in this maze of life, there are many lively and likeable ends and objects that lure and attracts. When believers fail to distinguish between what is needful or helpful from that which is desirable and admirable, we become victims of lust and greed. Not all that makes sense actually makes sense in the end. Paul discovered the real deal. Mary of Martha did too. Will you? Paul would consider all things but dung, rubbish, nonsense. Why? Just so he could win, achieve, attain CHRIST! MAKING JESUS the main mission is the main mission we must all embrace! That I may win Christ! That you may win Christ! Winning Christ is the main mission. Is winning Christ your main mission in Life?
