MY ONE YEAR NYSC EXPERIENCE 🥺🥺
CONTINUATION
Fast to my redeployment, I was redeployed to Ogun State which was my intended state, I took night Bus from Aba to Ogun State and arrived early hours in the morning, precisely Abeokuta. My first time in Ogun State felt weird but I was lucky to contact a relative that guided me till I finished my documentation. I made friends during the documentation processes and the journey became less bearable. "Problems shared with the right friends is problem half Solved". I was told to wait for 2 weeks for my Place of Primary Assignment (PPA) Posting letter, I Decided to move out of my relative apartment and moved in with Nigerian Christian Corpers' Fellowship (NCCF). I stayed there while touring around the state until I got my posting letter to an Engineering Company Proforce Limited specialized in manufacturing Armoured Vehicles and protective equipment, located in Remo North.
I then moved to the New Local Government Area, after the interview with the company I was accepted, all I saw was military vehicles and military men, I realized I moved from Camp to Barracks.
My PPA gave me a lot of conditions to work with them, the conditions were so tough but I had to move out of my comfort zone. The inhited me from using my phone during work hours and I had to work from Monday-Saturday, it was very difficult adjusting to the system for the fact it affected every aspect of my life, but I was determined and strong to take the new phase.
It was difficult to adjust to the type of food I found around me, instead of the food adding to my weight it was reducing me 😂. My plan was not to have Friends during my service year but before I knew it I had brothers and sisters from another Mother 😅
