Wherefore the rather, brethren, give diligence to make your calling and election sure: for if ye do these things, ye shall never fall"* -- 2 Peter 1:9-10 (KJV) For if ye do these things, ye shall never fall: this means that when you don't do these things, you will fall. Do you want to fall? I am sure you don't. So add to your faith! One of the things to add, by way of further breaking down, what 2 Peter 1:5-11, is a potent prayer life. "If I don't pray, Satan will make mess of me" is simply another way of saying "Watch, and pray lest you fall (yakata) into temptation." (Mark 14:38). Falling into temptation is messy. It's the devil's mess. In Christ, you should overcome. Pray!" "Dear Christian, you lost your appetite and you don't know why? That's not anorexia! It's a call to FAST. You cannot sleep and you think it's insomnia? Wrong! It's a spiritual signal to PRAY. Be sensitive to your spirit-man.
