*DAILY DEW 25/FEBRUARY/2023* *Keep Hope Alive* _Key Bible Text:_ *"Some trust in chariots, and some in horses: but we will remember the name of the LORD our God.They are brought down and fallen: but we are risen, and stand upright. Save, LORD: let the king hear us when we call."* (Psalms 20:7-9 (KJV)) _Bible Insight:_ David kept his hope alive. When King Saul was determined to make his life, not just miserable but a thing of the past. David continued to hope in God. He didn't allow the pressure and witch hunting of King Saul make him give up faith in His calling to Kingship. Abraham kept hope alive. He was not perfect but with respect to God's promise to him, he believed God. His age and his wife's were not speaking possibilities, but against hope he kept hope alive. Mary the mother of Jesus kept hope alive. He never asked to become any heroe's mother. But when the news came from an angel that God has chosen her for a special assignment, she kept hope alive. Several others did the same-- they kept hope alive. Paul and Silas in the prison. Joseph in Potiphar's house and eventually in the prison too. And what about you? Life never promises a smooth path to victory. A promising life is always one that keeps the promises of hope alive. Hope promises a better tomorrow. Hope promises light at the end of the tunnel. Hope promises a joyful morning, after the mournful night. It is time to keep hope alive. No matter the situation. No matter the challenges. No matter the difficulties. Don't despair and don't give up the fight for the future you believe in.
