David Joshua Egbochuo  6th February, 2023

*DAILY DEW 7/FEBRUARY/2023* *THE THREE KINDS OF PEOPLE IN EVERY TEAM* (II) _Key Bible Text:_ *"But the Lord told Gideon, "There are still too many! Bring them down to the spring, and I will test them to determine who will go with you and who will not." When Gideon took his warriors down to the water, the Lord told him, "Divide the men into two groups. In one group put all those who cup water in their hands and lap it up with their tongues like dogs. In the other group put all those who kneel down and drink with their mouths in the stream."* (Judges 7:4-5 (NLT)) _Bible Insight:_ Everyone who is a part of a team is not necessarily supposed to be a part of that team/group/or organization. So we take note of this second group of people that may be a part of a team but are not best fitted to be in such group. The role of leadership is fine tuning and helping such people find their best place to serve. *2. The Complacent and Relaxed People:* These ones are the just too comfortable and relaxed people. They don't want to be bothered so much. They don't see anything to improve upon. They just want to be part of the team, without going the extra mile to make a positive impact. They are not really crazy about what is going on in the team. They are just fine belonging to the team whether or not they get their desired results or purpose of the team. The problem with this set of people, is that they don't bring their A game to the team. They don't want to be disturbed. They are good with excuses. They are the ones with most of the wrong attitude towards the work. And they won't necessarily quit the team, or the work unless you make them to. The challenge of leadership is to actually be sensitive to these types of people. If they are open to correction, (which is hardly, the case) you can groom them to become better members. Otherwise, don't hesitate to redirect them to another place or unit. Wrong attitude to the mission of the team, is more dangerous than not having enough hands to run the vision of the team. Few members with the right attitude will always defeat a crowd full of wrong attitude. _MEDITATION:_ *"An effective leadership is one that is sensitive and serious enough to identify those with wrong attitude and either send them out of the team or correct them. Never should the wrong attitude be allowed to fester."* *#David_Joshua_Egbochuo* *#Daily_Wisdom_for_living* *#Becoming_More_Like_Jesus* *#The_Rise_of_An_Army* *#Daily_Dew_Devotional* *#Hello_FEBRUARY,2023* ❤ Links To Visit: *FB Pages* https://www.facebook.com/DavidJoshuaEgbochuo/ https://www.facebook.com/thedavidgen/ https://www.facebook.com/THEREVIVALCORPS/ *Telegram Group:* https://t.me/joinchat/NzXQlVc9Hx7LfaRSnh9fHg Feel Free to Share with Friends.
