*DAILY DEW 3/JANUARY/2023* *TAKING NATIONS FOR CHRIST* (III) _Key Bible Text:_ *Yet have I anointed (installed and placed) My King [firmly] on My holy hill of Zion. I will declare the decree of the Lord: He said to Me, You are My Son; this day [I declare] I have begotten You. Ask of Me, and I will give You the nations as Your inheritance, and the uttermost parts of the earth as Your possession.* (Psalms 2:6-8 (Amplified Bible)) _Bible Insight:_ How do we take nations for Christ? Remember that nations represent the following: men, influence and affluence, territories, and states and countries. We already examined three vital points of what taking the nations involves. We shall add the following points to what has already been stated: How we take nations for Christ:- 4. Becoming aligned in sonship with God. This simply means becoming more like Christ. A Christlike character is of vital necessity for any who is poised to take nations for Christ. *"I will declare the decree of the Lord: He said to Me, You are My Son; this day [I declare] I have begotten You. Ask of Me, and I will give You the nations as Your inheritance, and the uttermost parts of the earth as Your possession."* It is a son that was commanded to ask for nations. To ask for nations is the exclusive preserve for those who have grown and are growing into Sonship or Christlikeness. God will not commit the nations nor inheritance of nations to carnal and ungodly believers. Remember, the idea is taking the nations FOR CHRIST, and not for one's own self ambition or personal aggrandizement. 5. A commitment to seek nations for Christ. By divine settings, nothing in the kingdom is given, unless there is a demand. James 4:2 (KJV) *"yet ye have not, because ye ask not."* Also the Kingdom demands to be sought after. "No seekers, no finders" is the rule of the Kingdom. Hence, if you must take nations for Christ, you must engage God. It is interesting to note, that to take nations for Christ, you will still have to ask God for His Help without which you can do nothing!
