*DAILY DEW 30/OCTOBER/2022* *GRACE DIMENSIONS* _Key Bible Text:_ *"Grace be unto you, and peace, from God our Father, and from the Lord Jesus Christ. I thank my God always on your behalf, for the grace of God which is given you by Jesus Christ"* (1 Corinthians 1:3-4 (KJV)) _Bible Insight:_ Grace is God's goodwill (friendly, helpful, or cooperative feelings or attitude) towards us, that enables us enjoy God's goodness for us and in us. Grace is that inbuilt goodness that comes with our acceptance of the gift of Christ as our Lord and Saviour. Grace opens us to God's unlimited riches of His glory. Grace is an access giver, life beautifier, life lifter, and godly attitude booster. Grace comes and is present in the believer at the point of surrendering to or accepting/receiving Christ. Grace is present in the believer's life and grace will always be needed in the believer's life. Grace comes in increasing measures and is never too much. Grace is like a fuel that delivers to the believer the power to live out the God kind of Life. Grace is the one part of the essence of Christ! The other part is Truth! (John 1:14) Grace is needed for truth to be assessed, appropriated and maximized. Truth is needed for the glory of grace to be made manifest, and understood. For instance, I am teaching the truth of "Grace" by the grace of God! In 1 Corinthians 1:3, Paul declares *"Grace be unto you, and peace, from God our Father, and from the Lord Jesus Christ"* That's a greeting-prayer! It is never too much to ask for Grace. Then 1 Corinthians 1:4 he also asserts *"I thank my God always on your behalf, for the grace of God which is given you by Jesus Christ"* What a twist! The explanation is that the believer already had grace: we received it upon receiving and acknowledging the truth of the Gospel! In other words, the new birth comes with an inbuilt measure of grace. Just like most gadgets, like phones, come with a bit of power already in it, but with a strong recommendation to charge fully before being used. Hence, though we already get grace at the point of our becoming born again, at the same time, we need Grace in ever increasing measures to live out the fullness of the implications of the truth of the Gospel! As we thank God for grace already received, we pray for yet more. As we appropriate the Grace already received, we become ripe for release of more grace!
