*DAILY DEW 28/AUGUST/2022* *SHINE BRIGHT (Part 3)* _Key Bible Text:_ *So don’t hide your light! Let it shine brightly before others so that your commendable works will shine as light upon them, and then they will give their praise to your Father in heaven.”* (Matthew 5:16 (TPT)) _Bible Insight:_ A lot of people have lost the light of God in their lives because of some things that they think it doesn't matter, it cannot affect them. We need to know these viruses that can kill the light of God in our lives. For us not to be a victim but a victor and rejoice at the end of our race here on earth. Here are some of the things that kill the light of God in one's life. i. Carelessness with the Word ii. Laziness in the things of the Spirit iii. Prayerlessness iv. Overconfidence in self v. Pride and so on. You need to be more careful even as you are growing in the Lord, the devil is not happy at all with your progress. Ensure not to allow him take control over your life. You have a forever faithful Father, the owner of heaven and earth, the giver of light, life and grace. His arms are always widespread to embrace as many that will run to Him. Drop all the trash in the trash bin and let Him cleanse you up for your light to begin to shine "so bright". He is always ready when you are ready. Give Him the chance and you will never regret you did. _MEDITATION:_ *"The very credentials these people are waving around as something special, I'm tearing up and throwing out with the trash--along with everything else I used to take credit for. And why? Because of Christ. Yes, all the things I once thought were so important are gone from my life. Compared to the high privilege of knowing Christ Jesus as my Master, firsthand, everything I once thought I had going for me is insignificant--dog dung. I've dumped it all in the trash so that I could embrace Christ and be embraced by him.
