*DAILY DEW 18/AUGUST/2022* *NOW THAT YOU ARE SINGLE* _Key Bible Text:_ *"Honor and enjoy your Creator while you're still young, Before the years take their toll and your vigor wanes, Before your vision dims and the world blurs And the winter years keep you close to the fire."* (Ecclesiastes 12:1-2 (The Message)) _Bible Insight:_ You're single and you still don't want to carry fire Is it when your children start running all over you shouting "Daddy, daddy", "Mummy, mummy" that you will have time to gather fire? You have (relatively speaking) enough time now yet you don't want to master consistency in Prayer and consistency in Bible Meditations? Is it when the weight of responsibilities as a parent hits you like a tsunami that you will master the discipline of SPIRITUAL CONSECRATION? If you can't gather fire now as a single, believe me, you may not be able to gather that fire as a parent... Bills will hit you (Diapers, milk, medicals etc). You'll be moving up and down to ensure the well being of your children and spouse. Your personal time will be invaded everyday, no breathing space except at night. Responsibilities are everywhere for the married. It takes grace to manoeuvre it but many won't tell you this. Even that night you want to seclude, the little baby will use cry to interrupt you, unless you go to a Prayer camp for Retreat you will find it difficult to get quality uninterrupted hours of personal time with God at home. Many married persons are regretting not taking enough fire into their marriage today, but if your spouse is on fire they can help you burn too. Just imagine if the married couples are fireless! That's a camp for demonic invasion and oppression. What more shall I say? Single brother, Single sister, Now that you're still single, PLEASE GATHER FIRE. The days ahead are too loaded, Too busy. Arghhh! Unless God intervenes, a fire not sustained here may never be sustained there. "Remember now thy Creator in the days of thy youth, while the evil days come not, nor the years draw nigh..." Eccl 12:1 I hope you understand the above scripture better now. _MEDITATION:_ *May the Lord give you the Understanding and Discipline to maximize your youth.
