*DAILY DEW 19/APRIL/2022* *PUTTING EASTER INTO PERSPECTIVE* (II) _Key Bible Text:_ *"All I want is to know Christ and the power that raised him to life. I want to suffer and die as he did, so that somehow I also may be raised to life."* (Philippians 3:10-11 (CEV)) _Bible Insight:_ The power of Jesus' resurrection was profoundly expressed by the evidence of the empty tomb, and the appearance of angels gallantly seated on the tomb, declaring:- *"And the angel answered and said unto the women, Fear not ye: for I know that ye seek Jesus, which was crucified. He is not here: for he is risen, as he said. Come, see the place where the Lord lay. And go quickly, and tell his disciples that he is risen from the dead; and, behold, he goeth before you into Galilee; there shall ye see him: lo, I have told you."* -- Matthew 28:5-7 (KJV) If Paul the Apostle was determined to know Christ and the power that raised Christ from the dead, we would never make spiritual maturity unless and until we do likewise. However, the more important point is that there is need NOT only to know Jesus but to KNOW the power of His resurrection. To belong to Christ without an understanding and experience of the resurrection power is to live a substandard Christian life.
