We take our lead from Christ, who is the source of everything we do."* (Ephesians 4:15 (Message)) _Bible Insight:_ In every field, only TRAINED MEN are appointed to TRAIN OTHERS. It is not different for the church! Do you understand the scriptures? Can you pray? Can you evangelize? Do you operate in the gifts of the Spirit? Do you consistently walk in the fruit of the Spirit? If not, reject that Pastoral form they've been hanging on your neck. Don't experiment with people's lives! A novice cannot produce skilled men! If you're a Pastor or church elder or church worker or fellowship executive and you're struggling with prayer and the study of the word, GET HELP ON TIME! You cannot give what you don't have! You will be busy thinking of how to make church lively because you're also lazy in spiritual things. GET HELP ON TIME! A Pastor, church worker, church elder or fellowship executive is a trainer. You have to stretch people beyond their comfort zones. See how Jesus trained His disciples? There's no growth without stretching people beyond the limits they've set for themselves. E.g. 'I can't pray beyond 20mins'. When you meet a Pastor who's worth his salt, he'll make you pray 1hr, 2hrs or more and you'll become better with time. I've seen people who were very lazy in prayers become addicted to it with the right training! Pampering is not one of the tools for discipleship - it has never worked! _MEDITATION:_ *"The local church is not a hiding place for unserious believers. We welcome all with the goal of transforming all. Those who are not ready for this transformation cannot stand the heat of discipleship.
