*DAILY DEW 25TH/DECEMBER/2021* *BORN FOR A MISSION* _Key Bible Text:_ *"For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace."* (Isaiah 9:6 (KJV)) _Bible Insight:_ The saviour's birth was foretold long before his story was told. He was definitely expected because his birth was expedient and a necessity for the divine purpose of God. This purpose was and is only for the good of mankind. His birth was to be the signal for the divine government of God like never before. For the government will be upon His shoulders. He was born for this mission- to establish the government of God. All who know this, must realize that to mark or celebrate His birth should be an occasion to ensure the increase of His government because that's His primary purpose. And this sort of celebration should be our daily purpose. This knowledge driven by zeal is key to the actual increase His government. _MEDITATION:_ *Of the increase of His government and peace there shall be no end, upon the throne of David, and upon His kingdom, to order it, and to establish it with judgment and with justice from henceforth even for ever.
