*WELCOME TO THE GOSPEL*

_Key Bible Text:_
*And how shall they preach, except they be sent? as it is written, How beautiful are the feet of them that preach the gospel of peace, and bring glad tidings of good things!*
(Romans 10:15 (KJV))

_Bible Insight:_

In the old testament, an adulterer or adulteress was condemned to be stoned to death before God. That was the law.

In the new testament, Jesus said to an adulteress "I do not condemn you, go and sin no more"

Believe me, the law had not changed. The penalty for adultery was still death. And Jesus did not come to abolish the law, or change the law. He came to FULFILL it.

So He had the right to tell her to go because He was going to bear the penalty for her adultery. He had taken her condemnation upon Himself.

He was going to die for her.
And so He could tell her to GO....and sin no more.
