*DAILY DEW 22ND/NOVEMBER/2021* *ON FINDING PURPOSE* (II) _Key Bible Text:_ *Work hard at whatever you do, because there will be no action, no thought, no knowledge, no wisdom in the world of the dead---and that is where you are going.* (Ecclesiastes 9:10 (GNB)) _Bible Insight:_ David didn't know he was going to be the king of Israel until Samuel showed up and anointed him. Nobody drummed it into his ears to discover or find his purpose. He simply loved and lived for God, obeying and serving Jesse his father and polishing his skills - playing the harp and slinging. Today, we call these things skills but I don't think David saw them like that. He probably learnt how to sling stones as a way of protecting his sheep from the lions and the bears. He played the harp as a way of entertaining himself and his fellow shepherds while they were at the bush. He wasn't doing any of these for the palace cos he didn't know he would ever be there, but he did them well. He simply made the most of his situations. He didn't let the anticipation of what tomorrow could bring deny him the joy and glory of really living today. Yet, God had His eyes on him and when the right time came, He, God, began to move men and materials in his favor. So, I'll enjoin you to do your best today. Forget about tomorrow; the Lord Jesus said: today's trouble is sufficient for it. *DAILY DEW 15TH/NOVEMBER/2021* *THE POWER OF THE RENEWED MIND* (II) _Key Bible Text:_ *And be renewed in the spirit of your mind; And that ye put on the new man, which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness.* (Ephesians 4:23-24 (KJV)) _Bible Insight:_ It is heart breaking to imagine that we are living in times when people when contemplating business, would rather not deal with persons who introduce themselves as "Pastors", "Church Members" or "Born Again Christians" 🥺 The urgent need of the hour is to return to deliberate and intentional mind renewal. The old man or old nature has been crucified with Christ but until you renew your mind, you will not live out the reality of the crucified life. The old man is dead or truly crucified to the extent that you engage in mind renewal. Mind renewal is a daily and deliberate exercise that calls for intentional and proactive steps. A passive or casual believer will remain under the sway of the old nature/man until there is a consistent practice of mind renewal. You should ask yourself, "How do I renew my mind"? This question is one you should take seriously and until you get the answer and start practicing them, you are not yet freed from the old nature. Living subject to the old nature, amount to living in the flesh. *DAILY DEW 1ST/NOVEMBER/2021* *STARTING UP* (II) _Key Bible Text:_ *I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.* (Philippians 4:13 (KJV)) _Bible Insight:_ Hardwork will keep you busy. You have to act on your ideas and work on your plans too whether you have all the resources and support or not. Again, you need self-confidence. Understand that you deserve the best and that you have the abilities to withstand all the challenges and difficulties that will come, because they will. For patience, this is very vital too. Patience will keep your hope alive as you wait for your breakthrough. Pay attention to this ⚠️ There's something in the Far East called the "Chinese bamboo", it take 5years to grow and in this 5years it remains in the ground and it requires constant watering, fertilization, weeding etc for it to survive but when it finally comes out of the ground after the 5years, it now grows 90feet tall in 5weeks. 90feets can be 20times the height of an average individual. But the success of this Chinese bamboo to grow pass its start up stage, won't be possible if faith, work, confidence, patience etc weren't applied. And am saying to you, Whatever you are facing today, know that those challenges and struggles are worth your victory. If you were able to conceive that dream, then you can also achieve it.🔥🔥💪🏾 I applaud your courage and desire to take decisions, start up a new business, a new life or act on your dreams. *DAILY DEW 25TH/ OCTOBER/2021* *A GAMBLER OR AN INVESTOR* (II) _Key Bible Text:_ *A prudent man foreseeth the evil, and hideth himself: but the simple pass on, and are punished.* (Proverbs 22:3 (KJV)) _Bible Insight:_ The gamblers, for example, are those who fail to give tithes and follow other divine and natural principles of financial breakthrough, and still wonder why they are not prosperous. But who are the investors? I liken the investors to the ants. Proverbs 30:25 (KJV) says *"The ants are a people not strong, yet they prepare their meat in the summer;"* The ants are investors in this context. They don't wish that all will be well in the winter (coldest/rainy) and play away the summer (hottest/sunny) season. You can't wish away the seasons of life. There will always be seed times and harvest times. When we play away the seed planting season, we will be horrible and regretful during the harvest seasons. Many older persons live in regret wishing they can turn back the hands of time. If you are relatively young and reading this, how are you making investments for you short, medium and long term harvest? Your destiny is in your hands because God have placed you in charge of it. Yes, you can surrender your destiny to God but God cannot do for you what He has created to do through you. Don't be among those who waste the opportunities life throw at them, but later run to beg others and depend on others to meet up. You don't have anyone to blame even if you started off with some bit of a disadvantaged background. Maximize the seasons of your life. Be an investor and not a gambler. *DAILY DEW 18TH/OCTOBER/2021* *NOT NATURAL* _Key Bible Text:_ *Love bears up under anything and everything that comes, is ever ready to believe the best of every person, its hopes are fadeless under all circumstances, and it endures everything [without weakening].* (1 Corinthians 13:7 (AMP)) _Bible Insight:_ It is interesting that some people believe that love is natural. Many argue that love comes and is expressed naturally. Actually, nothing can be more deceitful and untrue than such empty claims without proof. If love was truly natural, nations will not be rumpled and embroiled in man made insecurities, economic destabilization and political turmoil. If love was natural, every love at first sight case would lead to lasting marriages and every high school sweetheart stories will never fade away. If love was natural, parents will not abandon their children; husbands will not desert or divorce their wives and children, or wives abandon their children and husbands. If love was natural, there would never be hatred, robberies, senseless killings, ritual killings, kidnappings, banditry, and all kinds of evil today. Love is NOT natural and never can be. In fact, the only thing that is natural is lying, hatred, stealing, cheating, and all manner of evil. That's why you find so many living in such patterns because many cannot even help it. They are naturally sinful. The Love that God demands of us is not natural. It is not fleeting nor self serving. It does not seek to achieve its own purpose but God's purposes. It does not do good to only those who are nice and lovely. It strives to do good to the unlovable and the difficult. This love is SUPERnatural. It is born of God's nature and exist by the Spirit's influence. It is not motivated by nor dependent on fickle human feelings. It doesn't come and go and is not dependent on convenience. It is actually hard work and not simply nice gestures that come by instincts. It is a determination to live daily by a code of conduct that copies the ways of God.
