The filth and lust in secular entertainment are the worlds we are warned to not love. Go through (censor) the lyrics of the music, and comedy you subject your righteous soul to every day! Why not separate yourself, and come clean for God to clean, fill up and use? And that your boyfriend/ girlfriend that is tempting and tripping you into fornication will have to go too! 😐 You cannot enter without departing first from everything and everyone that's feeding, and empowering your flesh through lust. No believer has ever flirted with the world and survived it. All Lot did was pitch his tent toward Sodom, he slowly, but surely ended up in Sodom. Sister, what is it with your sudden closeness with hook up advocates? Why is your page suddenly littered with your half-naked pictures? You are too saved to live a carnally permissive life. *It is time to be desperate unto purpose and God. You cannot live your life like the unsaved!* You are the righteousness of God in Christ. God saved you early to prevent sinful damage to your soul. Don't squander the blessings of early salvation in licentious permissiveness. Those your harlot panties don't belong to where God is bringing you. Dress wholesome with shamefacedness. Sister, stop spoiling your prayers looking like the whore that you are not! Dress well. Dress right. Cover your body properly. It makes no sense to look like the loose person that you are not. What's the hypocrisy of having what you wear to church, and what you can wear everywhere else but church? Holiness isn't about the meeting place, it is the ever-abiding presence of God that makes you holy. No, you cannot dress as the world dictates, you are different, you are not of this world, you are of God. Whatever you can't wear to church meetings, doesn't belong to your wardrobe. Your wardrobe must not be against you, by misrepresenting you. Moses was confused for an Egyptian because of the robe he had on. What's all that piercing and tattoo about. After all these years in the faith, it is the tattoo that you crave. Wearing clothes that could barely cover you enough isn't growth, it is degeneration! You want to be radical, cast out devils, and heal the sick, not by tiding to worldly influences. *DAILY DEW 28/DECEMBER/2022* *THE NEED FOR STRONG REPROOFS* _Key Bible Text:_ *"For the commandment is a lamp; and the law is light; and reproofs of instruction are the way of life"* (Proverbs 6:23 (KJV)) _Bible Insight:_ Without strong reproofs, permissiveness and looseness can very easily become the culture of your house, especially in how your leaders and workers are adorned. I remember years back, a young lady in the choir came to church wearing a see through dress to lead the singing. I came into the church and it was annoying as it was embarrassing. I stopped the singing, called her out, and told her to go home, change their dress and come back. She apologized and said that was all she could wear that Sunday Morning after the service. I gave her money after the service to go get a replacement, and told her to never dress like that anywhere, it was that bad, but she eventually dropped out of the church, but those that stayed on shared up in how they dressed and what they wore to church. The shock was the number of people that came to praise my courage to fix the shameful thing right and there. *Don't allow unruly people to create a counterculture in the house. If they cannot follow, peacefully ask them to leave!* It is why a Pastor must be of good courage. Some heretics cannot be admonished, and the cure is to reject and eject them out of the groups they seek to ruin, and as is always the case, they will move on, which is good for the church and them too. Don't allow one small girl to turn your hand and walk all over you; fix it. You cannot spend time teaching and then someone chooses to do as he or she pleases and walk all over the church, and dress like she is going to the club to lead singing in the church. I'd rather pray than have such singing. You cannot have a house full of scantily dressed ladies, and have the move the Spirit in signs and wonders, because we will have an explosion of naked boobs and bums! So the Holy Spirit would rather not deal. *Proper dressing should still be taught, and enforced among workers and leaders. We cannot keep looking the other way, and say, "the Holy Spirit will fix it!"* Despite Aarons flowing dresses, he was still to wear boxers from the waste to the thigh to prevent his nakedness from appearing by similitude to the people and before God. Ministering forbids nakedness. (NET) Exodus 28:42-43: "⁴² Make for them linen undergarments to cover their naked bodies; they must cover from the waist to the thighs. ⁴³ These must be on Aaron and his sons when they enter to the tent of meeting, or when they approach the altar to minister in the Holy Place, so that they bear no iniquity and die. *DAILY DEW 27/DECEMBER/2022* *One Son Given, Many Sons Received* (II) _Key Bible Text:_ *"Jesus answered and said, This voice came not because of me, but for your sakes. Now is the judgment of this world: now shall the prince of this world be cast out. AND I, IF I BE LIFTED UP FROM THE EARTH, WILL DRAW ALL MEN UNTO ME."* (John 12:30-32 (KJV)) _Bible Insight:_ When Jesus said "And I, if I be lifted up from the earth, will draw all men unto me" he actually told us why He came to this earth! Two things can be drawn from this statement: He came to be lifted and He came to draw men unto Himself whenever He is lifted up! Celebrating Christmas without these two is an abuse of His coming! So you must ask yourself, "Do I lift Jesus up in and through my life?" Secondly, "Is my lifting Jesus up drawing men to Christ?!" If the second is absent, you are not correctly doing the first! Examine your life right now. When this truth hit me and my friends some years ago, we converted our Christmas season to a missions and evangelism season. For us, Christmas is not defined by new clothes, new shoes, new fashion, new hairdos, visiting villages and having family reunions, killing chicken or goat and eating Christmas rice and chicken! 😁 Rather, Christmas, if it must be anything, became for us a season to do unbridled missions and evangelism for a week! This became known as, Hunting The Perishing, which is also a flagship program of the Revival CORPS (a missions agency that mobilizes Christian youths (and youths at heart) and teens for the work of missions! We must lift Jesus up in the villages and places He may not be too familiar. Where He is already somewhat familiar, we must reawaken the consciousness of lifting Jesus up and giving Him the opportunity to draw men unto himself. By the grace of God, today, we now mobilize seven to eight teams every December to simultaneously go to various villages for the week long missions outreach. We started as four young people(teenagers more or less), and today we number over forty young people that strive to lift Jesus up, that Jesus may draw men unto himself! The divine agenda of the Father when He gave us His son, is to raise many other sons like Jesus. Every genuine follower of Jesus must therefore follow this agenda or plan, to execute it not only in December, but every other period of the year! _MEDITATION:_ *"God became man to turn creatures into sons: not simply to produce better men of the old kind but to produce a new kind of man. *DAILY DEW 26/DECEMBER/2022* *3 Ways Missionaries Interact with Local Churches* (III) _Key Bible Text:_ *"Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching"* (Hebrews 10:25 (KJV)) _Bible Insight:_ Other churches are more obviously in process than their “healthy” or “unhealthy” counterparts. Perhaps they’re strong on some fronts, weak in others, and downright wrong on a few. They’re imperfect but aware of their imperfections, and (most importantly) willing to humbly learn and change. These are the churches we should work alongside. Missionaries should actively look for opportunities to draw them into greater alignment with the missionary task. But what are they to do with a truly healthy church, one which is dedicated to biblical truth and striving to perfect their walk together? First, they should thank God for the church’s existence. Then, work with and through them. They should intentionally look for opportunities to carry out the missionary task in cooperation with their leadership, and sometimes even as a part of their membership. _3. Missionaries Participate_ Missionaries must participate in healthy churches as members. They need church families. The churches who send them remain precious and important. They fill a role in missionaries’ lives that no other group can fill. But they still need the local church, whether it’s a cathedral in Lagos or a hut in Osun. This is firstly for their own good. Every single believer needs discipleship in the context of a local body of members with a diversity of gifts. Missionaries can’t spiritually survive, much less thrive, without a community of brothers and sisters coming around them and carrying out the functions of a church. They need biblical leadership, daily prayer, strong accountability, and quality teaching. A church family hundreds, if not thousands, of miles away simply can’t provide those things. _MEDITATION:_ *"Missionaries must participate in the local church because the local church is how the gospel spreads. The local bride of Christ, in all her glory, is God’s plan A for reaching the unreached.
