Jealousy can cause people to become evil & covet things they do not have. Those whose eyes are always on what they do not have easily yield to evil thoughts. Don't be covetous. The righteous on the other hand will bear fruits. They are well rooted. This shows they have deep understanding of what they are doing and should be doing. Roots grow with time.
