It was in this church I started my baking business and we now have like 20 branches across the state'._ Okay...interesting. _'I found my husband here too in one of our marriage seminars. And we have been blessed with three children. If all the transformation that has happened to you in church is all about this life, material things, possessions, and nothing about spiritual growth and serving Christ, you haven't started your journey to real transformation by the word of God. *DAILY DEW 20TH/FEBRUARY/2022* *Learning The Habit of Evangelism* (II) _Key Bible Text:_ *"Epaphras, who is one of you, a servant of Christ, saluteth you, always labouring fervently for you in prayers, that ye may stand perfect and complete in all the will of God."* (Colossians 4:12 (KJV)) _Bible Insight:_ Habits are developed through constant practice and habits are lost with no practice. One of the areas we must intentionally develop into a habit is the practice of evangelism through prayer. Evangelism through prayer goes hand in hand with any other form of evangelism. In our bid to obey the great commission, we must remember that to obey the "Go" command, must also mean to go forward in prayers for souls and the lost or immature in Christ. Indeed, *"You must go forward on your knees."* in the words of Hudson Taylor How do we do this? How do we form the habit of evangelising through praying? Make a list of souls you must pray over daily. This list will include those who aren't saved from your family and friends. Then also include neighbors, leaders in government and evangelism contacts that needs praying for. How else do you form this habit? In order to always keep your heart ready for evangelism through praying, ensure you make yourself AVAILABLE FOR every opportunity to go out for evangelism, either as a group, church or individually. Every time you go out for evangelism, both before the exercise, during and afterwards, prayer is the vital manure that helps the witnessing yield the needed growth and results. Remember, NO GODLY HABIT IS PERMANENT. PRACTICE! PRACTICE!! Have you been observing this in your daily life? As you live each day, does it count for Christ, in so much that you are listening to the voice of God concerning that project you embarked on? Or concerning that marriage you want to enter? Or concerning that admission you are seeking? Be sensitive! The Bible clearly told us that let Him that think he stands take heed lest he fall. Have you been taking heed to the things God is calling you to? Be sensitive. Acts 17:30 (ESV version) told us that *"The time of ignorance God overlooked, but now he commands all people everywhere to repent"* Being insensitive, unemotional and unintentional is a sin. _MEDITATION:_ *Examine yourselves, whether ye be in the Faith; prove your own selves. *DAILY DEW 30TH/JANUARY/2022* *UNSHAMED* _Key Bible Text:_ *"For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.”* (Romans 1:16 (KJV)) _Bible Insight:_ Whatever you do, don't lower your voice where preaching the gospel is concerned. There was a time you used to share the gospel on your street, but now you don't want trouble? Guess who's glad? Definitely not God! You used to share the truth on your social media accounts but now it's all about politics? All about business? You don't want to be seen as a Jesus boy, just a business guy, tech person, football enthusiast, etc. Who gave you such ideas? Who says the gospel has to take the back seat for these ideologies???! Why not just create a business page exclusively for business or whatever while still talking Jesus loudly in your personal space even as you share your business? Keep preaching, keep teaching. Be known as an ambassador for Christ. Wear the badge of the UNSHAMED! If there's ever a time we need to be loud with the gospel, IT IS NOW! *DAILY DEW 16TH/JANUARY/2022* *We Don't Draw Back* _Key Bible Text:_ *"Now the just shall live by faith: but if any man draw back, my soul shall have no pleasure in him. But we are not of them who draw back unto perdition; but of them that believe to the saving of the soul.”* (Hebrews 10:38-39 (KJV)) _Bible Insight:_ No doubt there are those who draw back unto perdition. But what does "perdition" even mean? *_"PERDITION - per-dish'-un (apoleia, "ruin" or "loss," physical or eternal): The word "perdition" occurs in the English Bible 8 times (Jn 17:12; Phil 1:28; 2 Thess 2:3; 1 Tim 6:9; Heb 10:39; 2 Pet 3:7; Rev 17:11,18). In each of these cases it denotes the final state of ruin and punishment which forms the opposite to salvation."_* (Source: Net Bible) So now we know what we are dealing with. Perdition simply means lack of salvation. In other words, eternal destruction or damnation. The goodnews is, we are not of them that draw back to perdition. We are always moving forward towards salvation. We move with God. We move towards the salvation of our souls and the souls of those within our scope of influence. Beloved, this year, make up your mind to move closer towards your final glorious destiny in Christ Jesus- eternal salvation. Do not delay your progressive move towards growth, spiritual discipline, and search for more of Christ in your life. We don't draw back! We move forward to the upward call of God!
