*BE SENSITIVE (Part 1)*
_Key Bible Text:_
*"Keep a cool head. Stay alert. The Devil is poised to pounce, and would like nothing better than to catch you napping."* (1Peter 5:8 (MSB))
_Bible Insight:_
According to the Dictionary to be sensitive is to be quick to detect or respond to slight changes, signals, or influences.
And one is said to be sensitive when they are able to respond to paranormal influences.
Sensitivity is needed everytime for a child of God. Do you doubt if you are sensitive or not? Maybe you are wandering if truly you are a child of God. Make yourself available to God by holding unto your faith in God in order to allow Him come into your heart.
God is so interested in living in you and using you for His glory but dear brother/sister you need to be alert. Be sensitive.
_MEDITATION:_
*Be careful! Watch out for attacks from the Devil, your great enemy. He prowls around like a roaring lion, looking for some victim to devour.* (1Pet.5.8 (NLT))

*Faith Series: The Miracle Power of Faith*
_Key Bible Text:_
*"It was Faith that made Abraham able to become a father, even though he was too old and Sarah herself could not have children. He trusted God to keep his promise.â€* (Hebrews 11:11(GNB))
_Bible Insight:_
Faith is one of the keys to the miraculous.
Abraham & Sarah had both reached an age where it was physically or medically impossible for them to conceive & bear children. However, God made them a promise that Abraham would become the Father of many nations & Sarah, mother of many nations.
*"Neither shall thy name any more be called Abram, but thy name shall be Abraham; for a father of many nations have I made thee."* (Genesis 17:5 (KJV))
*"And God said unto Abraham, As for Sarai thy wife, thou shalt not call her name Sarai, but Sarah shall her name be. And I will bless her, and give thee a son also of her: yea, I will bless her, and she shall be a mother of nations; kings of people shall be of her."* (Genesis 17:15-16 (KJV))
Was Abraham's Faith perfect? Was Sarah's Faith perfect? A comprehensive reading reveals that at some point both were not too sure of God's promise. See Genesis 17:17-22 where Abraham had laughed over it and prayed for Isaac instead & Genesis 18:12-15 where Sarah laughed over it & denied it.
God fulfilled His promise despite the seemingly imperfect Faith of the couple. As a matter of fact, they were adjudged to have received the promise by Faith as found in Romans 4:17-22. This then means that it does not matter how you start off as long as you grow in your Faith enough to receive God's promises for you.
_MEDITATION:_
*"And being not weak in Faith, he considered not his own body now dead, when he was about an hundred years old, neither yet the deadness of Sara's womb: He staggered not at the promise of God through unbelief; but was strong in faith, giving glory to God."* (Romans 4:19-20 (KJV))

*NARROW IS THE WAY (I)*
_Key Bible Text:_
*"Don't look for shortcuts to God. The market is flooded with surefire, easygoing formulas for a successful life that can be practiced in your spare time. Don't fall for that stuff, even though crowds of people do.â€* (Matthew 7:13(MSB))
_Bible Insight:_
Every normal human being likes to be free to do anything that they will without being questioned about it.
And most people like to walk & live freely and not be bound to some rules and regulations but will that be possible for a heaven minded person? NO!
There are two possible kinds of road one can pass through depending on who a person submits to. It's either one submits to the supreme God through Christ Jesus or the adversary (the devil) through all other gods or mediators.
One way possible is the broad way according to our Bible Text. I will like to compare our main version with another version and add verses 14 to it. I mean Matthew 7:13 & 14
*Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat: Matt.7.13 (KJV)*
_MEDITATION:_
*Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it. Matt.7.14 (KJV)*.

*DAILY DEW 14TH/JANUARY/2022*
*Suffering For Christ* (II)
_Key Bible Text:_
*"For you both had compassion on me in my chains, and joyfully accepted the plundering of your possessions, knowing that you have for yourselves a better possession and an enduring one in the heavens. Therefore don’t throw away your boldness, which has a great reward."* (Hebrews 10:34-35 (WEB))
_Bible Insight:_
In a biographical story of Frederick Douglass, there was an account of Captain John Brown a former military man turned storekeeper, who invited Frederick to his home. The striking thing about Captain Brown was that, though he was white, for several years he lived a restrained lifestyle. He wanted to lead a small group of dedicated men who would live in the Appalachian mountains, induce slaves to escape and then train them for resistance. He believed that was his contribution to the struggle against slavery and for many years sacrificed for it, preparing for a time when he could carry out his plans into reality.
He chose a restrained lifestyle so as to afford to save and amass resources for the struggle ahead. In like manner, Christians are in a spiritual struggle and like Captain Brown, whether we are missionaries or not, whether we are truly challenged or not, we need to live restrained lifestyle so we can keep our eyes on the core goals of the Kingdom of God, by helping those who suffer most for the cause of Christ.
This calls for self imposed "suffering" just like Moses who in Hebrews 11:24-26 (KJV) *"By faith,... refused to be called the son of Pharaoh's daughter; Choosing rather to suffer affliction with the people of God, than to enjoy the pleasures of sin for a season; Esteeming the reproach of Christ greater riches than the treasures in Egypt: for he had respect unto the recompence of the reward."*
Remember, *"Therefore don’t throw away your boldness, which has a great reward"*. In this heavenly race, we must be confident of the great reward ahead of us. For "if we suffer, we shall also reign with him: if we deny him, he also will deny us" (2 Timothy 2:12 (KJV)) Besides, *"it is better, if the will of God be so, that ye suffer for well doing, than for evil doing."* 1 Peter 3:17 (KJV)
_MEDITATION:_
*For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, worketh for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory; While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal.* (2 Corinthians 4:17-18 (KJV) ))

*DAILY DEW 24TH/DECEMBER/2021*
*TRUSTING AGAINST ALL ODDS*
_Key Bible Text:_
*"Though he slay me, yet will I trust in him: but I will maintain mine own ways before him."*
(Job 13:15 (KJV))
_Bible Insight:_
It's an uphill task trying to understand God's plan, especially when we can't make logical sense of what we see happening to and around us.
But we aren't instructed to understand His plans, but to TRUST HIM and be secure in the knowledge that He's working everything to ultimately turn out for our good.
God won't mismanage your life. Trust Him with it and be willing and quick to obey His instructions even when they don't fit into your parameter of what's logical.
One of the truest form of worship we can give to God is to TRUST Him - leaning our entire existence on the unchangeability of His nature and counsels.
