L Osborn was once challenged to go to India and preach Jesus there, he went and found out that the Muslims there also "believe" in Jesus. Osborn tried to convince them that Jesus is alive but they asked him to prove it to them... He could not prove it... He even failed to heal headaches and flu amongst the Indians and this got him almost depressed and worried. He later returned to America and said he will no longer preach a dead Jesus to the nations again, so he locked himself in his bedroom and told his wife sister Daisy that he was not coming out of the room until he sees Jesus and experiences His Resurrection power. Jesus appeared to him right in that room and through that encounter his ministry was transformed and brought transformation to many souls around the world. *DAILY DEW 5/NOVEMBER/2022* *DON'T ALLOW SATAN TO CHEAT YOU* _Key Bible Text:_ *"And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God."* (Romans 12:2 (KJV)) _Bible Insight:_ While heading to Enugu for a Program, a beautiful young girl sat beside me in the sienna car and she was enjoying the sound tracks the driver was playing. The driver was playing a complete album of one of Nigeria's secular artistes and I noticed how the girl sang all the songs accurately. Her brain had downloaded all the lyrics of that album. So we got to a place where I engaged the young girl in a conversation. I asked her if she was a Christian and she said, Yes. I asked her if she could recite one chapter each from the books of the new testament she smiled and said she couldn't... I went further to tell her that I will give her 5,000 Naira if she could recite one chapter each from the books of the New Testament. She tried and couldn't get one. I mean she couldn't get one, not even John 3:16... I told her OK, recite only 3 verses from the new testament and the money will be yours. She still failed and she became totally ashamed of herself. I began talking to her about her urgent need for salvation... Now, The problem was not her brain. A brain that can recite all the lyrics of a babylonian song album can recite the entire New Testament if the owner of the brain trained the brain to do so just like the brain was trained to learn those songs. Many of you don't know how to memorize scriptures but the same brain knows all Celine Dion and Burna Boy music lyrics. Keep deceiving yourself... The day Satan came to tempt Jesus, he used the scriptures he memorized to challenge Satan. The day Satan will come for you, maybe it is Celine Dions lyrics that will save you. It is time. And there was delivered unto him the book of the prophet Esaias. And when he had opened the book, he found the place where it was written* (Luke 4:16-17 (KJV)) _Bible Insight:_ After Praying and Fasting on the mount, Jesus found His divine destiny and understood his assignment while he was reading the Prophecy of Isaiah according to Luke 4:17-18. "And there was delivered unto him the book of the prophet Esaias. AND WHEN HE OPENED THE BOOK, HE FOUND the place where it was written" Luke 4:17. If you keep failing to open that book called Bible, you will never find the scroll of your destiny. This is not a joke. Jesus found His in the Word, yours is there too. There is something God is saying about why you're on earth... Go and open the book daily and one day you shall find it. Anything that hinders your time with the Word and Prayer is hindering your access to divine destiny. To find divine destiny is simple; Develop a vibrant Prayer life and search the scriptures daily and you shall find. He that seeketh findeth. *DAILY DEW 18/AUGUST/2022* *NOW THAT YOU ARE SINGLE* _Key Bible Text:_ *"Honor and enjoy your Creator while you're still young, Before the years take their toll and your vigor wanes, Before your vision dims and the world blurs And the winter years keep you close to the fire."* (Ecclesiastes 12:1-2 (The Message)) _Bible Insight:_ You're single and you still don't want to carry fire Is it when your children start running all over you shouting "Daddy, daddy", "Mummy, mummy" that you will have time to gather fire? You have (relatively speaking) enough time now yet you don't want to master consistency in Prayer and consistency in Bible Meditations? Is it when the weight of responsibilities as a parent hits you like a tsunami that you will master the discipline of SPIRITUAL CONSECRATION? If you can't gather fire now as a single, believe me, you may not be able to gather that fire as a parent... Bills will hit you (Diapers, milk, medicals etc). You'll be moving up and down to ensure the well being of your children and spouse. Your personal time will be invaded everyday, no breathing space except at night. Responsibilities are everywhere for the married. It takes grace to manoeuvre it but many won't tell you this. Even that night you want to seclude, the little baby will use cry to interrupt you, unless you go to a Prayer camp for Retreat you will find it difficult to get quality uninterrupted hours of personal time with God at home. Many married persons are regretting not taking enough fire into their marriage today, but if your spouse is on fire they can help you burn too. Just imagine if the married couples are fireless! That's a camp for demonic invasion and oppression. What more shall I say? Single brother, Single sister, Now that you're still single, PLEASE GATHER FIRE. The days ahead are too loaded, Too busy. Arghhh! Unless God intervenes, a fire not sustained here may never be sustained there. "Remember now thy Creator in the days of thy youth, while the evil days come not, nor the years draw nigh..." *DAILY DEW 13/AUGUST/2022* *CONSECRATED VESSELS NEEDED* _Key Bible Text:_ *"How can God's temple come to terms with pagan idols? For we are the temple of the living God! As God himself has said, *I will make my home with my people and live among them; I will be their God, and they shall be my people.* And so the Lord says, *You must leave them and separate yourselves from them. Have nothing to do with what is unclean, and I will accept you."* (2Corin. 6:16-17 (GNB)) _Bible Insight:_ If your god is the one that permits you to go to club on Friday and lead choruses in choir on Sunday, please we are not interested in him. We don't want to meet him; he is the god of the Egyptians. Even when we gather in Church on Sundays, it's a sad thing that many come in with different "gods" that they want to introduce to God Almighty. They are not even ready to drop these gods and follow God sincerely. Some come with the god of whoredomy, so when you preach against premarital sex or adultery, they get offended and go where they will never be rebuked for such. If you're online, they unfriend you so that they can freely err without anyone rebuking them. Some come with mammon which is that god that makes men love money above Jesus, and when you Preach against mammon that influences their drive to make money through illegal means, they are offended. It is mammon that also makes makes men stingy towards things pertaining to the Gospel. It is also mammon that also raises men to fight those who give to God's Kingdom. If we will have a place in God's Kingdom in the days to come, The god of Pride and Arrogance, The god of Envy and Bitterness, The god of Immorality, The god of Greed and Selfishness, all these Egyptian and Babylonian gods must all be abandoned AT THE FOOT OF THE CROSS OF CHRIST. *Drop those idols and serve the Living God. The Lord is calling you to total consecration and you must yield to his demands to be gainful in the Kingdom.* A generation has arisen that has failed to serve God in Spirit and Truth and when they see your True worship of God, they begin to blackmail you with words like "you dey do holy holy..." "No be you Pray pass..." Ignore them, they are under Satan's captivity...! Psalm 82:5 has scanned them but John 3:16 will save them if they desire to be saved.
