A Hopeful Nigeria

People have lost hope in Nigeria and this has given room to lots of negative and strange happenings.

The truth is that we don't expect God to bless for us what we ourselves have cursed already.



Nigeria is ours and we owe it to ourselves to embrace this difficult reality.



The change we need cannot come from election results or political parties. Maybe this is why we have always been disappointed.

Change can only come to us, with the help of God.



And I know want you to know that Nigeria is not just the bad leaders, corruption and insecurities we see everyday.

Nigeria is you and I who still work and believe things will get better one day.



The future Nigeria we need, can begin with consistently doing what's right at all cost. It could be helping someone, paying someone's transport fare, saying sorry when you have to, giving to the needy, avoiding violence, treating everyone with love and respect, building those companies, industries, paying your taxes and making social contributions to the society.



Personally, I have every reason to join every other person to lose hope in Nigeria. But I choose to accept responsibility.

I choose to live aright.

Losing Hope is not an option and it's not in my nature.

I know I was born weak but God has empowered us to be Hopeful and strong.



Father Lord, we commit our Family, the old women, little children, the sick, the jobless, those who lost their loved ones, the needy, those who are victimized into your hands.

We rededicate the love and peace of our country into your hands.

We don't know what tomorrow holds but we know you hold our tomorrow!
