WHY RELATIONSHIPS FAIL

There are several reasons why Relationships fail. And some of the reasons are not in our control but I will be sharing with us few unique things to consider in order to make our relationships work.
Relationship in this context is the one that involves dating and should lead to marriage.
Well, am not a relationship expert nor a love doctor as some of my friends will fondly call me. Am just a concerned individual who has the desire to make things work.
To be sincere, I tried my best to make this article short but you and I know how long and complex relationship talks can get.
1) A Relationship will likely fail if you and your partner don't have sincere intentions of getting married to each other.
The truth is that; in relationships and dating, it's very difficult to stay faithful if you don't have intentions of getting married to your partner. My advice is always to date someone you are willing to get married to!
The moral and mental obligations that you are likely going to spend the rest of your life with someone will help you put in your best in the relationship.
2- People want a perfect Relationship. And the quest for this leads to unnecessary comparisons with what they feel they see in movies, from other relationships and on social media.
Ask yourself, "Am in really perfect?" if you are not, your partner will likely not be perfect too.
He might not take care of you as he used to. She might not love you as before. It's normal, it happens in most relationships but how you deal with it makes the difference.
So understand that your relationship may never be "ideal" but you have the abilities and willingness to fix it.
3- People enter relationships because they are looking for love. We should enter into relationships not because of the love we need but because we have the love to share.
I know this sounds very odd, but that's why some Relationships fail.
If you don't love and value yourself, you will likely rely on people's opinion about you to feel good. And when this doesn't happen, you'll be left in despair.
Be the one who has the love and be in the position to teach him or her how to love.
It's more blessed to give than to receive.
So I encourage you to spend quality time with yourself, your family, friends and people around. First find love within you!
4- When people in a Relationship start involving in immorality, the love of Christ that binds them will gradually be replaced by their Lust. And lust cannot build a strong Relationship.
No matter how lively and fun you want your Relationship to be, don't overstep some boundaries.
Save the actual fun till you guys are married. If you are not planning to get married, ask yourself why you are in the relationship. Whatever your response is, just avoid being sexually attached to the person and wait till you are matured and get married.
This aspect of relationship is very challenging. But I have a piece of advice if you really want to maintain purity:
"In a relationship, don't allow your emotions and feelings make your Love look like it's Lust." Try your best to avoid so many unmanned actions and arbitrary decisions.
It's not easy but the beauty in every relationship lies in purity.
Again, your level of self-control is not the same with your partner.
Learn not to lead yourself into temptation, and also avoid leading him or her into temptations too.
"Abstinence to me, is the greatest form of self-control"
Thanks for reading. Looking at this alone, you'll discover that Relationships are not for the young in mind. It has alot of moral, mental, financial, spiritual obligations.
So, if you are already in a relationship, try your best to make it work. If you are in none yet, don't be too eager to enter.
