CREATE THEIR FUTURE
RealityLifeTalks
Welcome to our Reality Life Talks, and to all my young people, parents and aspiring parents out there, I'll love to share something with us.
At a very tender age I had a computer and several mobile phones which wasn't very common amongst kids of my age.
My parents subconsciously played a big role in creating a future for me.
I was exposed to technology at a very early age and it helped me develop passion and intuition for the computer world.
As at my junior school days I was able to understand how the internet works and at this stage of my life I have achieved alot as a web developer, same applies with music, we have some at home. And without a teacher, I have been able to learn how to play some musical instruments.
Now, I want you to understand that passion can be developed.
And I encourage you to help create a future for your children.
Expose them to so many useful things at an early stage.
Help them find their purpose early in life when they've not been entangled with aspirations, pleasure, peer pressure and other vicissitudes which are associated with growing up.
A Bible passage says "Train up a child in the way he should go, And when he is old he will not depart from it." Proverbs 22:6
Some of our kids have hidden potentials that the school alone cannot help them develop.
The school can only train them with facts and figures but the main essence of their existence will still be vague.
The school will only judge them by their ability to read, remember and write but life generally is beyond just doing paperwork.
Also our schools may not have all the necessary equipments to help our children discover themselves and explore life. So we the parents have to take up full responsibilities for our ward.
From a little research I made, I discovered that people who have prowess in a particular field of life had been exposed to that field at a tender age. Although this may not be absolutely true but creating a future for your children is absolutely the right thing to do.
All am saying is:
Look at your children beyond the school and academic wall. Take them for a walk, spend quality time with them, watch them grow, interact with them, buy them indoor/outdoor games, sporting equipments, educating materials, stationary, computers, musical equipments, expose them to skills and expertise. Give them opportunity to explore life as children, it'll help them understand life and find their purpose.
I know you may not be able to afford all these but do the necessary ones you can and allow nature complete the process, with the help of God, your children will find their passion.
Also you have to guide and trust your children towards taking decisions regarding their course in life. Value their opinion and choices.
A child can never learn how to walk in your arms. He or she has to be exposed to life: which involves falling and standing, until he/she learns how to walk.
Again, being exposed to the internet at an early age had some negative effects on me.
Allowing your children to explore life may have some side effects but I believe good will always win over evil.
Once again, I encourage you to do everything possible to give your children and people around you hope for the future, rescue them from oblivion.
I don't know how else to say this but help Create a future for our children, because they are the leaders of our tomorrow.
Thank you and God bless our children's dreams.
See you same time same station but different gist. I am Johnson Crystal.
