Winning As An Entrepreneur
When I started out pursuing my dreams as a fullstack web developer and as an Entrepreneur. I spend 90% of my time and resources building up myself.
Everything I did then was just to learn more, discover more and improve on myself. Earning wasn't my priority yet.
People kept asking me questions like;
"How much have you made from all these things you are doing?"
"Is it even paying?"
"Stop wasting your time on things that won't give you money"
And all these statements were all directed towards money, money and money. Purpose and passion were sidelined.
But I kept doing what I loved and kept loving what I did because passion was my drive and fulfilling purpose my destination.
What they never knew was that I was still in my growth process and I was patiently preparing myself for better days.
Just as the Chinese bamboo takes approximately 5years to germinate and come out of the ground and surprisingly grows 90feet tall within 5weeks after it has come out of the ground (wow!), so does it apply to us in reality when we decide to take up life, learn new skills, start up new businesses, work on ourselves, decide to become a better person, build up better relationship with people and as believers knowing and walking in God's plan for our lives.
Everything does not always happen very fast.
Then I kept working on myself and believed that my time will come.
And today, 90% of things I do as a web developer I earn from them including teaching people.
Maybe they've asked you questions like this or you've actually asked yourself whether you'll ever make money from your works, gifts, talents, abilities, business, trade, services etc.
Am saying to you, yes you will. Your time will come.
Be willing to learn, invest more time and money on you.
If you've not discovered yourself, what you love and what you should be a part of, I encourage to take that bold step.
"The knowledge of what you learn today will attract the money you'll earn tomorrow.
Be competent in whatever you do, be driven by purpose, passion and love for your work.
