CONQUER THE CROWD
AsIBeganToDiscoverMyself
One of the hardest things I had ever done was just to believe I could face the crowd and give a presentation.
But today, public speaking and talking to an audience generally is one of the easiest and sweetest things I can ever do.
I wouldn't have known I had such potentials and passion for speaking if I didn't face my fears and give myself a try.
It was very difficult and challenging believing in myself owing to fact I had my personal weaknesses. I grew up introverted and "shy", I hadn't any public speaking background, I was just a timid guy struggling with fear and lack of self-esteem. Though it wasn't so when I was much younger.
But I have come to understand and appreciate who I was then and through God's grace, whom I am now.
And am assuring you that, "You can win this battle, you can conquer the crowd, you can absolutely live above the fear of public speaking and you can become an effective communicator", I know what am saying.
Believe you have a great speaker in you and it's time to manifest that greatness.
Join groups that will give you a platform to speak and work on yourself, also decide to take up responsibilities and be willing to face all your fears.
I think every career, field and works of life at some point requires a bit of public speaking.
Even if you have decided that it's not your thing, I challenge you today to give it a try!
I learnt that "When you start doing what you fear the most, then you can do virtually anything".
No one was created with limited potentials to live a limited life.
You are unlimited, you are limitless.
Within you is God's grace and greatness, around you is his love and mercy.
You are wonderfully and FEARfully made.
You shouldn't allow FEAR stop you in any area of your life.
Maybe your fear is not public speaking, whatever it is, relate this victory to it.
Listen to your heart, it's saying; It's your time to shine.
