Someone asked me to shed more light on this particular picture quote.



Well, there are things that are naturally very difficult to control. Some can come in form of urges, feelings, thoughts etc.

So practically, it's easier not to arouse them than trying to subdue them.

I have a saying that *Abstinence* is the greatest form of self-control.



So, what this statement "Don't arouse emotions you cannot control" is saying in reality could mean different things in different scenarios.

A very common scenario is; if you know you are not ready for sexual or emotional commitment with someone, don't flirt with the person or allow yourself to be flirted with.



Always define your role and position in people's life.

A time will come when your desires will become stronger than your Will and then self control will be a very big problem.



I know there may be exceptions to this, but I encourage you to be safe out there.



Sincerely, most times we may not notice but when we allow our emotions and feelings to be aroused beyond control, it exposes us to alot of things.

And putting yourself in order will require serious extra effort.



We all have the natural tendency to express our emotions and feelings.

Majority of the times we will likely be taking the wrong decisions if we rely on our emotions. So we need discipline to get along in life.

Avoid things that trigger these emotions as much as you can.



And always remember that someday, we all will give an account of how we've lived our life here on earth.
