"Small things" that seam insignificant at face value, in reality become threads and needles with which our society is sewn into one integral community - ruled by peace and tranquillity. Without them, very many things can go wrong, beginning from home inti the government. Take smiles, greetings and appreciations as examplars. Smiles don't actually pronounce a word; yet without them, we appear strange and unpredictable to the point of scaring friends away. Greetings ("Good morning," "Welcome," "How far?" "Go well" etc) pay no salaries; yet without them, drawn daggers are inevitable. Appreciations ("Thank you," "We are proud of you," "Let's clap for them," "We love you," etc.) actually leave no tangible compensation for those being appreciated; yet, they are like grease and fuel for the engine; they are a great motivation for those being appreciated. These "small things" requires no money, recharge card or electricity to power. They are affordable by the poorest and weakest among us. Help heal our society and homes by investing these seemingly small treasures in lives of our brethren, neighbours and colleagues. God uses small things to challenge us to greatness...
