Things to do on Sundays

I hope you are having a great day so

Sleep in: enough said, right? Sleep is incredibly important. Rest is INCREDIBLY important. So let Sunday be the day that you give yourself permission to have no alarm, to be ripped out of a perfectly wonderful sleep for nothing, and to just let your body wake itself up when it’s ready.
- Drink really good coffee: no shock here, we really like coffee. Typically, we drink really strong, black coffee, and we love it. But we’re no strangers to a flavored coffee or even a “special” coffee as we call a 21-and-older kind of coffee in my family. We love a pumpkin coffee when the season is right; sometimes, we even let Sunday be a nice relaxed kind of morning for an Irish coffee.
- Move your body: just because it’s Sunday, and we believe in resting on Sundays, does not mean we believe in sitting still all day. We’ve allowed ourselves to become quite potato-shaped in the past by enjoying too much fun on a Saturday night and way too much laziness on the following Sunday. Go for a walk at the very least. We like to go for a walk up to the coffee shop or a walk up to the nearby mall and window shop. A 20-minute stretch session or even a 20-minute dance party would do the trick! Just don’t loaf the whole day … especially if you enjoyed yourself too much on Saturday night. If that’s the boat you’re in, that’s even more of a reason to get up and get moving, because it will help your body recover.
