Abraham's servant must have been hungry after such a long journey, but he needed to caution himself and control his appetite. He however remembered why he had come and, he therefore needed to focus on that before satisfying his human desire. Develop the discipline of concentration before consumation. We should grow to be singled eyed on our calling before pursuit of personal satisfaction. Those who have excelled in life never put personal happiness above their calling.
