I AM NOT A FAILURE
Category: MotivationLabel: hopeful me
There is a big difference between "I didn't pass my exam" and "I failed my exam".
"I couldn't succeed" is also quite different from "I failed".
"I lost my job", "I wasn't selected for the competition", "my business failed", "I was disqualified" etc are all very different from saying "I am a failure".
I so much avoid using the word "failure" on myself, because it affects my level of confidence and how I see myself.
There are some ideas and projects I worked on that didn't yield and rather than saying "I failed", I choose to say "It didn't work out well".
People who believe they failed most times find it very difficult to get back on their feet but those who see their downfall as a challenge move on stronger and believe that success is just saying a temporary NO to them.
Now, am not saying the word "failure" should be totally removed from the dictionary, all am saying is, don't use it directly on yourself, you can use it else where.
Failure is just an incident, it's not your name neither is it your personal belonging.
Don't label yourself a failure because you failed at a particular thing.
Even if you have failed in so many areas of life, there are still things you've done with your life that you succeeded in.
Or even if you feel your case is too extreme and you have not succeeded at anything, you are not still a failure, you might try something tomorrow and succeed.
So, find reasons to smile at yourself, because you look good putting on a smile than putting on the look of failure.
In fact, when am asked to do something and I don't succeed at it, I try my best to come back smiling.
I have read different success stories of people who failed at so many attempts and finally succeeded, I hope to read yours too.
You are living and breathing right? Yes, I guess you are.
"When there is life, there is Hope". And I define HOPE as Holding On a Powerful Evidence.
So I encourage you to try again, try and keep trying, strive and keep striving, move and don't stop moving, aim high and never settle for less, you might not be born a winner but I am sure you are born to WIN.
Hold On this Powerful Evidence, and I assure you that life will soon yield to you.
You are not a failure!
God's grace has guaranteed us our Victory.
