Oh what a lovely thing to be loved by someone, to be cared for by someone, to be valued by someone, to be cherished by someone, above all to always have someone's time and attention. In contrast, what a sad thing it is when you are the 'someone' who is giving out such love, care, support, and time without receiving such in return...Selah Most of us really have received and are enjoying this love, care, support, concern and attention of this 'someone' without reciprocating. He paid a price with his life. He didn't just die, he suffered before dying. He was bruised and beaten, flogged and was slapped, he wore a crown of thorns and carried the cross onto which he was crucified, just for your sake and mine. He really suffered before dying but unlike other death, where the body is laid to rest, he died and was 'buried to fight'. He fought while in the grave just to gain total victory and redemption over sin just for your sake and mine. Hallelujah!!!! He didn't die to remain dead but he rose again after three days of battle. The question now is, do you know that a gift had been paid for, just for your sake and mine? A miracle has been performed even before your birth and mine just for your sake and mine. The gift paid for, and the miracle performed is SALVATION. Fellow human beings, we have been redeemed from sin that destroys, why still dwell in it? Why still repeat those acts that are gradually destroying your life? Well, you might be ignorant of the fact that, that ' someone' still loves you irrespective of how deep you are in sin. Some others are abusing the privilege they have gotten from the death of this 'someone'. But in all, there is still an opportunity for you that is ignorant to be saved and for you that has been saved to be reconciled to God. This is the reason for this season. Ceremonies and celebrations are good but do not allow the message of this season elude you. Do not miss the opportunity this season brings to you. Someone has been showing you love, care and concern, giving you protection and blessings, interceding on your behalf in the presence of his father, but we do not reciprocate this love. Accept this 'someone', free your self from sin and destruction and live a more fulfilled life. This someone is Jesus and he loves you that is why he died for your sake and mine. Ask him to be the Lord of your life and confess your sins and you will be saved.
