Our Lord Jesus Christ has encouraged us to bear fruits and that our fruits should remain And in so doing whatever we ask of Him, He will give unto us. But we can't just bear fruits without getting close to Him We're urged in the Bible to "Submit ourselves unto God, resist the devil and he will flee"(James 4:7) In order to bear good fruits, the devil shouldn't be given a chance in our lives, certain lifestyles need to be put away and certain people are not expected to be in our lives. In submitting ourselves to God, we need to avoid pride because "God resists the proud,but gives grace to the humble"(James 4:6) We should also cleanse our hands and purify our hearts (James 4:8). We also need to lay our "Isaac" on the altar, not because God needs it, but in order to be a great nation and bear fruits which the world will see and be drawn and persuaded to serve God in truth and in spirit.
