I don't like cooking. I would prefer doing all the house chores instead of cooking.Doesn't the society see this as wrong for being a girl child? Everyone has what they can do best,even without stress,but as a girl child,as a woman,you are conferred with duties that you must perform even though u don't like them.As a woman,you must be the one to cook for your family,taking care of the children are also one of your duties,infact all the house chores are yours to do,well,especially cooking. Right that cooking for your family is important, it saves money of going to the restaurant every time you are hungry,but must it be the job of the woman all the times? My mum would even tell me that at my age,I should be perfect in cooking,my brothers scream this to my brain everyday,but unfortunately it has not been so. Cooking has always been my hardest chore but I learnt it anyways because I am a woman. Is this not how the society actually make woman go through some stuffs that their body and mind actually rejects? What do they make the men do?Of course the men also have their responsibility but does the society also ensure that the men do this to the latter?Instead some men have formed the mentality that the woman must perform their responsibilities to the latter and that they are supposed to be relax and enjoy.Haven't this broken down most homes? I am the MAN, I am the Man,Yes God made you the head of the family,Didn't the bible also tell us that Men are supposed to love their wives,I don't remember the bible saying that you should make her your slave.How can you say you love her,you let her come back home tired from work outside the home and insist she does all her house chores before going to bed and without a helping hand.Is that love to you?. Didn't the bible say love your wife as you love your own body(Ephesians 5:28)? Definitely that would not be the way you love your own body. The devil have used this mentality to break homes because the men go to the extent of leaving even their own responsibilities to the woman,no wonder in most homes,the mothers are the most valued because they strive so much to keep things together even with the father in the picture. Now you are surprised why she is more blessed than you,just remember that Our God is not asleep,He watches everything.Even in the secular world now,the woman are leading,only responsible men dare to compete. I think our society is making women much more stronger than the men .The men have relented in their responsibilities so much that the women can be both the man and the woman in the house. Didn't the men call us the weaker sex,are they not the weaker sex now? Give a helping hand to the woman,she is not your slave. #travails of a woman #life of a lazy writer.
